Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bill Goldberg (ranked 3531 p4p, 445 weight class) and Norman Pederson (ranked 3193 p4p, 421 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 11 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Norman Pederson!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Pederson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Goldberg enables Pederson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Goldberg manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Bill Goldberg.
I think Goldberg has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
