Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Escrima (ranked 4604 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Bobby (ranked 3638 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Miguel Escrima has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Miguel Escrima seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bobby with a poor takedown
and Escrima counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Bobby gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Ricky Bobby seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Escrima lands a glancing blow to the side of Bobby's head.
Escrima fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bobby looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Nice shot by Escrima.
Escrima scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Escrima drops Bobby with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Bobby looks back up at him and smiles so Escrima waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Bobby is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bobby is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Escrima doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Bobby crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Bobby's bad books for that mishap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Miguel Escrima!
A relieved looking Miguel Escrima thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
