Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ryouta Sato!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Buddy Franklin!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Franklin moves in looking to clinch but Sato pushes him off.
Franklin misses with a body kick.
Sato lands a glancing blow to the side of Franklin's head.
Sato scores with a nice head shot.
Sato stuffs the takedown attempt from Franklin. Franklin gets slowly back to his feet.
As Franklin looks to move away, Sato throws a big counter combo but Franklin just gets out of the way.
Franklin takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Sato lands a nice leg kick that just misses Franklin's sensitive parts.
Sato lands a head shot.
Sato looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Franklin takes a jab right on the kisser.
Sato misses the jab.
Franklin looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Sato scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Sato scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Sato uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Franklin has time to react.
Sato throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Franklin throws a nice looking combination but Sato bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
It looked like Sato was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Sato uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Franklin has time to react.
Sato misses with a series of wild punches.
Sato scores with a jab. Franklin acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Franklin on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Franklin is rocked!
Ryouta Sato seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sato drops Franklin with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Franklin! Sato dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
