The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Batukayev.
Zeledon Castro tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Batukayev tries to grapple but his opponent circles
so Zeledon Castro counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Zeledon Castro makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Batukayev is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Zeledon Castro dives into side control.

Batukayev changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Zeledon Castro tries to avoid it but Batukayev manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Zeledon Castro to the ground. Zeledon Castro escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Zeledon Castro drops back looking for a leg! Batukayev is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Batukayev manages to kick Zeledon Castro off! Zeledon Castro jumps back into Batukayev's guard.
Zeledon Castro sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Batukayev's guard.
