The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saarenpaa looks to land a left hand but Hepple moved out of range nicely.
Hepple throws a big counter head kick but Saarenpaa avoids it with no problem.
Hepple takes a swing at Saarenpaa's ribcage but misses.
Saarenpaa ducks under a wild hook from Hepple.
Hepple throws the left hand but Saarenpaa avoids the punch easily.
Hepple misses with a low kick.

and Hepple counters with a right hand to the body.

A little feinted left hand from Saarenpaa on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Saarenpaa ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Saarenpaa takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Hepple misses the shot to the body.
The fighters circling - Saarenpaa throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Saarenpaa connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Hepple's hands.

Hepple dips to his left and cracks Saarenpaa with an uppercut!

Hepple throws a lazy right hand but Saarenpaa sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Saarenpaa chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Hepple can pounce on him.
Hepple is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Saarenpaa.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Hepple! But no joy.
Hepple throws a big shot that misses.
It looked like Saarenpaa wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Hepple misses with a head kick.
A cross from Saarenpaa lands.
Hepple throws a lazy right hand but Saarenpaa sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Hepple throws a looping overhand right but Saarenpaa ducks down to avoid it.

Hepple takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Saarenpaa swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Hepple counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Hepple takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Hepple throws an overhand right that lands on Saarenpaa's shoulder, as Saarenpaa tries to avoid the shot.
Hepple throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Saarenpaa counters with a stiff right hand.
Hepple moves out of range of the strikes.
Saarenpaa throws a body shot but no joy.
Hepple throws a series of punches but Saarenpaa avoids them all with ease.
Hepple bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Saarenpaa throws a hook but Hepple avoids it easily.
Saarenpaa lands the left hand.

Hepple is rocked!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hepple throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hepple is still on wobbly legs! Can Saarenpaa finish him?
Saarenpaa drops Hepple with a straight right hand, right on the button! Saarenpaa follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
