Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Reco Penn (ranked 1566 p4p, 151 weight class) and Johny Chambers (ranked 2173 p4p, 188 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Johny Chambers enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 9 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Reco Penn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Johny Chambers! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Penn scores with a crisp jab that stopped Chambers in his tracks. Chambers swings away with a body shot that misses
and Penn counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Penn doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Johny Chambers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Penn staying out of range there. Chambers swings widly with a right hand
and Penn counters with a straight right hand. We've been told by Penn's head coaches at De Santos BJJ & MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Chambers gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Penn keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A jab from Chambers finds it's way through Penn's defenses. Chambers looks to score with a jab to the body but Penn is just out of range. Penn works Chambers's body with a nice hook. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Chambers throws a body punch but Penn moves out of range. Penn is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Chambers. Chambers instigates a clinch. Penn breaks from the clinch.
Penn missing with a left hand there. Chambers was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Penn looks for the body kick but Chambers saw that one coming. The fighters circle momentarily. Penn darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Nice defenses there by Penn. Penn's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Penn duly obliges. Penn jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Chambers is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round. Chambers closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Chambers is still on wobbly legs! Can Penn finish him? Chambers is trying to stall.
Penn blocks an uppercut.
Penn dips a shoulder and cracks Chambers with a mighty uppercut! Chambers falls back against the cage and Penn unloads with a barrage of strikes! Chambers is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Penn screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Reco Penn! A relieved looking Reco Penn thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
