Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Satpal Singh (ranked 5103 p4p, 490 weight class) and Daniel Cormier (ranked 4966 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Satpal Singh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Daniel Cormier! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Bruno Lombardi and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Singh darts in looking for a takedown but Cormier gets double underhooks and turns Singh into the cage. No luck for Singh with that takedown attempt. Cormier closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Singh is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Cormier cracks Singh with a nice body shot. Cormier leaning his opponent against the cage. Singh tries to work over Cormier's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Singh lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Cormier wants to control but Singh is keeping busy.

That's one minute gone in the round. Cormier actively working from the bottom here. Cormier is looking for a sweep. Singh is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Singh really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Cormier trying to control here.
Singh wants to stand but Cormier has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Singh scoring with strikes to the body and head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Singh sitting and controlling from the half guard. Singh is trying to control the action in half guard but Cormier is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Singh scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Cormier keeping control of the position. Cormier is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Singh slows the pace down in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cormier manages to get to full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Cormier throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Singh with a hook. Cormier looks to score with a jab to the body but Singh is just out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cormier tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Singh changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Singh. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Satpal Singh. That's going to take a lot out of him. Cormier takes a swing at Singh's ribcage but misses. Singh seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Singh tries to land a front kick but Cormier steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Cormier throws a head kick but Singh moves out of range.
Cormier throws a body kick that misses and Singh counters with a takedown into side control. Singh wants to control but Cormier is keeping him busy. Singh will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Daniel Cormier will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
No luck for Singh with that takedown attempt. Singh lands a right hook to the body.
A telegraphed right hand from Cormier misses the target. Cormier has closed the distance and engaged Singh in a clinch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Singh. Singh is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Singh jumps guard but Cormier turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Satpal Singh. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cormier escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cormier drops Singh with a beautiful combination! Singh stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Cormier is looking for the KO!
Singh is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Cormier closes the distance looking for a takedown. Cormier picks Singh up and slams him brutally to the floor. Singh is out! He's out cold! Wow, you don't see a finish like that every day!
