The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bell avoids a punch combination nicely.

Bell changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Koch looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Koch is trying to control Bell's posture but Bell avoids it.
Koch really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bell. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bell tries to move into full mount but can't pass Koch's legs.
Koch is pushing Bell's head away, looking to escape. Bell manages to hold on to the position though.
Koch manages to work his way to half guard, despite Bell's best efforts.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Bell seems to be looking for submissions.
