PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Khalabib Nurmy (ranked 2033 p4p, 250 weight class) and Billy Marques (ranked 2283 p4p, 275 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Marques's choice of entrance music: Raining Blood. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marques throws a hook but Nurmy blocks it.

Nurmy closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Marques to the mat! Marques manages to get full guard.
Nurmy is looking to work some ground and pound but Marques has wrist control.
Nurmy has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Nurmy is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Marques frees his head nicely. Oh but Nurmy has switched to an armbar! Marques is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
