Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Piet Smit (ranked 1761 p4p, 269 weight class) and Royce Gracie (ranked 2119 p4p, 309 weight class). Smit comes to the cage accompanied by Baby Got Back. Gracie has chosen Olha a Explosão as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Smit pushes Gracie off looking to stand but Gracie dives back in and keeps control.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Gracie got a little sloppy there for a moment and Smit has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gracie has managed to get both his arms back between Smit's legs - danger averted.

During a confident post fight interview, Royce Gracie thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
In defeat, Piet Smit stepped up to the mic, saying 'Winning is not everything, it is the only thing!'.
