Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sergei Petrov!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tomori swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Petrov counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Tomori throws a sloppy body shot
letting Petrov counter with a right hand.
Tomori swings away with a body shot that misses
letting Petrov counter with a right hand.
Tomori thuds a left hand into Petrov's body.
Petrov throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Petrov comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Tomori throws a hook but Petrov blocks it.
Tomori misses with a body shot.
Tomori is looking to clinch.

enabling Petrov to counter with a crisp jab.
Petrov throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Tomori sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Tomori takes one to the side of the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tomori is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Petrov misses with a wild body shot.
Petrov ducks under a wild hook from Tomori.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Good standup being displayed there by Tomori as he connects with a hook.
Petrov works Tomori's body with a nice hook.
Tomori has been working on his boxing with his coaches at L.A Vale Tudo in the buildup to the fight.
A jab from Petrov misses.

and Petrov counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Petrov lands a nice looking body shot.
Oh Tomori is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Tomori tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Petrov cracks Tomori with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Tomori tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Petrov pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Tomori is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sergei Petrov!
A relieved looking Sergei Petrov thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
