Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dallas Winston (ranked 3130 p4p, 337 weight class) and Johnny Winkle (ranked 22773 p4p, 562 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dallas Winston!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnny Winkle!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. Winston darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Winkle closes this distance looking for a takedown but Winston circles away.
Winkle with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Winston to score with a decent uppercut.
Winston's corner calls for a 1-2. Winston obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Winkle walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Winston dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Winston lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Winston throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Johnny Winkle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
No luck for Winkle with that takedown attempt.
Winkle misses with a takedown attempt
and Winston counters with a straight right hand.
Dallas Winston has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Winkle.
Winkle walks into a straight right hand from Winston.
Winkle throws a leg kick that misses.

and Winston connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Winkle misses with a takedown attempt
and Winston counters with a stiff right hand.
Winston throws a combination. Winkle tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Winkle darts in looking for a takedown but Winston gets double underhooks and turns Winkle into the cage.
Winkle doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Winston counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Winkle looks winded!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Winkle misses with a takedown attempt
and Winston counters with a nice body shot.
A punch lands to the side of Winkle 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Winston connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Winkle is rocked!
Winston steps in with a hook that catches Winkle right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Winston follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Winkle looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dallas Winston!
