Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Apolinario Mabini (ranked 3193 p4p, 398 weight class) and Anthony Romeo (ranked 3365 p4p, 411 weight class). Mabini comes to the cage accompanied by Noypi by Bamboo. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Peter Branson and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mabini feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Romeos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
It looks like Anthony Romeo has been cut.
Romeo takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Mabini throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mabini defending well as Romeo loads up on a big left hand.
Mabini appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Mabini slips under a jab.
Romeo looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Romeo scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Mabini doesn't seem bothered though.
Mabini tries to move into range but Romeo moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Romeo swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Mabini takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Mabini lands a nice hook to Romeo's body. Romeo takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Anthony Romeo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Romeo fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Mabini looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Romeo keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Romeo misses the shot to the body.
Romeo throws a lazy right hand but Mabini sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Romeo misses with a straight right.
Romeo connects with a jab.
Mabini throws a body shot but no joy.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Romeo batters Mabini with a massive right followed by a huge left! Mabini is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Romeo lands a final crushing right hand to drop Mabini to the mat with a gruesome thud! Romeo is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Anthony Romeo!
The defeated Apolinario Mabini had this to say: 'A man can be destroyed but not defeated... I will pickup the pieces that I learned today and will grow from it.'.
