Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kyo Yodachai (ranked 5100 p4p, 461 weight class) and Kenshi Kimura (ranked 5449 p4p, 465 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kyo Yodachai! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kenshi Kimura! The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Winston Alpacca and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yodachai tries to clinch but fails miserably and Kimura counters with a nice double leg into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Yodachai is trying to keep Kimura in close.
Kimura is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Yodachai controls Kimura momentarily but Kimura frees himself. Yodachai keeping full guard, as Kimura tries to pass. Kimura engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kimura drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Yodachai manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Kimura has Yodachai in his guard. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Kimura holds on and takes a little breather.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kimura escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Yodachai gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Kimura is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Kimura has his foot on Yodachai's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Yodachai works his way back into a safe position though. Yodachai sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kimura's guard. Kimura is looking for a sweep. Yodachai is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Yodachai is looking to advance position but Kimura won't allow it. Kimura is trying to maintain the position but Yodachai is very close to passing his half guard. Kimura is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Yodachai pulls his head out easily. Yodachai is looking for a kimura but Kimura is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Yodachai to get the leverage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kimura wants to improve his position but Yodachai is controlling well.
Yodachai seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kimura does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Kimura is trying to control but can't.
Kimura moves into full guard.
Yodachai wants to control from the top but Kimura keeps moving. Kimura working for a triangle but Yodachai defends it easily.
Yodachai stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kimura swivels though and keeps the full guard. Kimura working a defensive guard here.
Yodachai has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kimura is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Kimura is looking for a triangle but Yodachai pushes his legs off easily.
Yodachai slips nicely into half guard. Yodachai is trying to control. Kimura wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kimura is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Yodachai pulls his head out easily. Kimura has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Yodachai is working away from the top position though. Yodachai is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Yodachai wants to take a breather but Kimura is having none of it. Kimura is trying to maintain the position but Yodachai is very close to passing his half guard. Kimura is trying is best to control the position here. Kimura is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Yodachai pulls his head out easily. Kimura gets back to full guard.
Yodachai trying to control but Kimura is working from the bottom. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kimura has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Yodachai doesn't defend quickly enough and Kimura has managed to lock this one up! Can Yodachai escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Kimura on a fantastic submission victory.
