Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between William Hood (ranked 5229 p4p, 0 weight class) and Decision Specialist Dani (ranked 25208 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Decision Specialist Dani!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hood fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dani avoids it really well and circles away.

Hood gets caught flat footed, as Dani shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Hood uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Hood gets caught napping as Dani dives in and scores a takedown. Hood manages to retain guard.

Hood manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Dani wants the takedown. Hood is fighting it off but Dani persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Hood's guard against the cage.
Dani is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Hood has momentary wrist control but Dani slips an elbow through the middle.

Dani postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Hood might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Dani not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Dani has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Dani advances to half guard.
It looks like Dani is going to stand back up.
Hood has his hands clasped together around Dani's back. He's all about the action.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Hood throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Dani blocks it with crossed arms.
Dani is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Dani manages to break the clinch.

Dani shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Dani was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Hood seems a little lost for a moment, as Dani dominates the positioning.

Hood gets caught napping as Dani dives in and scores a takedown. Hood manages to retain guard.

Dani gets to his feet - Hood follows without any prompting.

Dani gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Hood is trying to pull guard but Dani has him pressed against the cage.
Hood is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hood wants to break the clinch but can't.
A frustrated look appears on Hood's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Dani escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dani lands a leg kick that knocks Hood off balance momentarily.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Dani is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Hood's half guard.
Hood wants to stand back up but Dani manages to pass into side control.

Dani thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Hood tries to roll over but Dani keeps him under control.
Dani drops an elbow to the side of Hood's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dani wants to pass the guard but Hood is defending well.
Dani content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Hood wants to control but Dani is keeping busy.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Dani works his way into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hood tries to improve position but can't.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Hood is letting Dani control him for a moment.
Hood is trying to control Dani's posture but Dani avoids it.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Dani has managed to clinch.

Hood breaks from the clinch.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Dani gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Hood tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Dani manages to move to mount!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Decision Specialist Dani showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Dani moves into the clinch.
Hood tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Dani smiles and moves away.

Dani clinches.
Hood fails to pull guard.

Hood manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Dani has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Dani stands and steps away. Hood gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Dani tightens his grip and picks Hood up, before dumping him to the ground. Hood manages to land in guard.

Dani decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Hood changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dani looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Dani struggling a bit here.

Dani closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Hood's guard.
Dani is standing up over Hood. Hood looks to escape but Dani dives into side control.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Dani decides to stand up, so the ref orders Hood to his feet.
Hood shoots in but Dani avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for William Hood. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Dani drives through with a takedown into Hood's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Dani is standing up over Hood. Hood looks to escape but Dani dives into side control.

Well Dani has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
