The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cabran scores with the left hand. Adams knows he should have avoided that one.

Adams shoots in for a double leg but Cabran sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Cabran keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Adams takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Cedric Cabran has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jay Adams.

Cabran is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Adams postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Cabran out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Adams goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 7:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Jay Adams!
Jay Adams got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
