The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howard throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hasselvall's waist but Hasselvall gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Howard off to one side.
Howard moves in looking to clinch but Hasselvall pushes him off.
Horrible takedown by Howard or perhaps it was just good defense by Hasselvall which made him look bad.
