Coming up we have a light heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Joe Bone (ranked 1369 p4p, 170 weight class) and Thomas Hawk (ranked 401 p4p, 0 weight class). Bone kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is You'll Never Walk Alone. Hawk comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Deadwood kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Hawk tries to clinch but Bone moves out of range. Bone fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Bone shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Bone (2) vs (0) Hawk Bone passes to side control. Score +3 for passing guard: Bone (5) vs (0) Hawk Bone moves into full mount! Score +2 for reaching mount: Bone (7) vs (0) Hawk Hawk regains half guard. Hawk wants to get back to full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The fighters are battling for position here. Hawk manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Hawk is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Bone trying to control the position from guard on top but Hawk is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bone preventing the sweep. Bone pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hawk is keeping the position for now. Bone postures up.
Hawk is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Score +2 for sweep to guard / half guard: Bone (7) vs (2) Hawk Bone is looking to improve his position.
Hawk tries to pass the half guard into mount. Bone knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Bone is refusing to be controlled, as Hawk sits in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bone is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hawk's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hawk's back! Score +4 for clean sweep to past guard: Bone (11) vs (2) Hawk Bone is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Hawk with him. Hawk is trying to defend but Bone has an arm under the chin now! Hawk grimaces and is forced to tap out!
