Coming up we have a light heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Kamden Jackson (ranked 2235 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jodi Joe Fjera (ranked 1841 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson comes into the arena with Creed II- Eye of the Tiger blaring out of the sound system. Fjera comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Tito & Tarantula kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And in the blue corner, fighting out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 4 losses; Jodi Joe Fjera! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Roosa Järviläinen.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Fjera throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Jackson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Fjera is in Jackson's guard. We've been hearing good reports from Jackson's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Jodi Joe Fjera very nearly forgot to thank Pit Bull Development amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you. Kamden Jackson was interviewed post fight and said 'The loss is tough, but I will come back stronger!'. |
