Coming up we have a light heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between James Steel (ranked 2192 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steel Grappler (ranked 19763 p4p, 601 weight class). Steel Grappler told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the light heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; James Steel! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Hilo, with a TWGC record of 8 wins and 5 losses; Steel Grappler! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Grappler shoots in for a takedown but Steel shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Grappler shoots for a double leg takedown but Steel sprawls well. He's pushed Grappler's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Steel Grappler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Steel closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Steel lands in his opponent's guard. Grappler is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Steel bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Grappler's guard. Score +2 for sweep to guard / half guard: Steel (18) vs (2) Grappler Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Grappler wants to improve his position but instead Steel has moved into half guard.
Grappler is staying active underneath Steel, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

James Steel very nearly forgot to thank Urban Fighter amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name.
