Coming up we have a bantamweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Demitrious Johnson (ranked 6146 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicky Ryan (ranked 21965 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the bantamweight division. Introducing today's competitors. The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Johnson shoots in looking for a takedown. Ryan tries to sprawl out of it but Johnson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ryan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Johnson has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Ryan is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Johnson. Score +3 for passing guard: Johnson (2) vs (5) Ryan
Johnson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ryan wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Ryan has the hooks in. Johnson is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Johnson has hold of Ryan's leg, trying to break free but it's let Ryan lock up a rear naked choke! This could be big trouble! Johnson is turning an unusual color here… he's out! Ryan throws him to one side and jumps onto the cage to celebrate with his fans.
