Coming up we have a light heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Vito Mazzini (ranked 1853 p4p, 222 weight class) and Mr Steel Penn (ranked 2902 p4p, 0 weight class). Mazzini's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Fade To Black. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And in the blue corner, fighting out of Hilo, with a TWGC record of 6 wins and 4 losses; Mr Steel Penn!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Sano.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Steel Penn has closed the distance and engaged Mazzini in a clinch.
We've been hearing reports that Mazzini has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Steel Penn wants the takedown. Mazzini is fighting it off but Steel Penn persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Mazzini's guard against the cage.

Mazzini bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Steel Penn's guard.

Steel Penn drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Mazzini manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Steel Penn has Mazzini in his guard.

Steel Penn working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mazzini doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mazzini manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

I really don't envy Steel Penn right now.
