Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Galen Dall (ranked 2 p4p, 2 weight class) and Dag Daghammar (ranked 72 p4p, 10 weight class). Dall comes to the cage accompanied by Red - Already Over. The crowd seem to be enjoying Daghammar's choice of entrance music: Just like that - Dregen. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

letting Daghammar counter with a right hand.
Daghammar has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

A nice side step and Daghammar releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Daghammar takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Daghammar lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Daghammar works Dall's body with a nice hook.

That was a close round but I would say that Galen Dall will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Dall will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

The crowd cheers as Daghammar lands an impressive looking overhand right. Dall doesn't seem phased though.

and Daghammar counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Galen Dall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Daghammar fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Dall looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

After winning the bout, Dag Daghammar thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
