Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Reid Holden (ranked 7342 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wojciech Kurminowski (ranked 5148 p4p, 0 weight class). Reid Holden has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Reid Holden! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Wojciech Kurminowski! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Valeri Chadov and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kurminowski gets a clinch. The referee is keeping an eye on Kurminowski - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Kurminowski pushes Holden back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Kurminowski breaks the clinch.
Holden blocks a head kick by Kurminowski.
Kurminowski decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Holden has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kurminowski is working away from the top position though. Holden looks like he's trying to stand up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Holden preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Kurminowski is looking to advance position but Holden won't allow it.

Kurminowski is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Holden defends it well. Holden trying to control here.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Kurminowski is looking to advance position but Holden won't allow it.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Kurminowski drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Holden tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Holden is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Kurminowski throwing strikes here but Holden is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Kurminowski can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Holden is looking to escape. Kurminowski controlling from mount. Holden is looking to get to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kurminowski avoids the attempt from Holden to control. Holden really is a fat lump. Holden is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Kurminowski is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Holden controls the position. Kurminowski throwing strikes here but Holden is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Holden wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Kurminowski looking for the choke from the back. Kurminowski has good solid back control here. Holden might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Kurminowski not allowing Holden to control his hands. Holden is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Holden is trying to get back to his feet but Kurminowski has full control of the position and if anything, Holden has just worked his way into a worse spot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Wojciech Kurminowski dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Kurminowski moves in looking to clinch but Holden pushes him off. Holden swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Kurminowski manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Holden on his heels. He'll look to pass Holden's guard now, I'm sure. Kurminowski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Holden swivels though and keeps the full guard. Wojciech Kurminowski has got the better of the ground game so far. Kurminowski looking to sit in guard and control but Holden gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Holden wants to get up but he can't break Kurminowski's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Kurminowski pulls Holden in close to prevent any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Holden scoring with some ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Holden content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Kurminowski is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. That's one minute gone in the round. Holden seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Holden working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Kurminowski throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Holden lands a couple of decent looking shots. Kurminowski is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Kurminowski has Holden pulled in close to control his posture. Kurminowski is working an open guard so Holden takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Kurminowski has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Kurminowski circles away from the clinch attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Kurminowski postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Holden to stand up. Sloppy strikes from Kurminowski. Those never looked like landing. Kurminowski closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Holden did well to prevent Kurminowski getting side control. Holden kicks off Kurminowski and gets to his feet. Kurminowski is breathing heavily. This has been an exciting period of action! Holden gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Kurminowski breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kurminowski keeps the fight on the outside. Kurminowski looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Holden manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Holden looking for a sweep. Not yet Holden, not yet. Kurminowski prevents Holden from getting back to his feet. Kurminowski must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Kurminowski pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Holden is keeping the position for now. Holden isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Kurminowski stacks Holden on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Kurminowski! You can see the frustration on Holden's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Kurminowski decides to stand up, so the ref orders Holden to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Kurminowski fails with an attempt to clinch.

Kurminowski rushes Holden and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Kurminowski gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kurminowski controlling the pace. Kurminowski sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Holden defending well though. Holden gets full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Reid Holden will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Kurminowski shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Holden's guard. Holden keeping moving, preventing Kurminowski from controlling successfully. Holden escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kurminowski gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Holden is trying to hold Kurminowski in close to prevent damage but Kurminowski has managed to pass into half guard.

Holden gets caught napping as Kurminowski dives in and scores a takedown. Holden manages to retain guard. Holden keeping full guard, as Kurminowski tries to pass. Holden controlling the position. Kurminowski wants to control from the top but Holden keeps moving.

Kurminowski trying to control the position from guard on top but Holden is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Holden throws his legs up looking for a submission but Kurminowski uses it to pass to side control.
Kurminowski throws an elbow but Holden slips to the side and avoids it well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Kurminowski working away. Holden prevents Kurminowski from improving position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. A slapping leg kick lands for Kurminowski.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kurminowski is looking to clinch but Holden is avoiding it.
Kurminowski darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Kurminowski not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
And that's the end of the fight! Wojciech Kurminowski comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Kurminowski has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
