Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nicholas Sandoval (ranked 5143 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viktor Drago (ranked 5164 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nicholas Sandoval! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Viktor Drago! The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, John Mangel and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Drago looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Sandoval clinches up with Drago and pushes him back against the cage. Sandoval is trying to force a seperation but Drago has the dominant position. Drago taking a breather. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Sandoval. Sandoval wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Drago has him pressed against the cage. Drago pulls guard effortlessly. Sandoval gets to his feet - Drago follows without any prompting. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Drago shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Sandoval napping and manages to drive through into side control! Sandoval bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! This has been an exciting period of action! Sandoval rushes Drago and presses him up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Drago breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Drago looks to clinch and Sandoval counters with a nice uppercut. Drago wants to clinch. Nice sprawl there from Drago as Sandoval shoots in. Drago tries for a takedown but Sandoval circles away easily and Sandoval counters with a series of strikes. Drago will be more careful next time no doubt. Sandoval keeps the fight on the outside. Drago shoots and misses and Sandoval holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Nicholas Sandoval has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Viktor Drago. Drago turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Drago manages to end up in side control. Sandoval throws Drago to one side and escapes!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Viktor Drago seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sandoval avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Sandoval moves into the clinch. Sandoval could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Drago jumps into guard, dragging Sandoval to the mat.
Drago really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sandoval. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Drago utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Sandoval is working Drago over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Drago is trying to control the position but Sandoval postures up. Sandoval throwing strikes but missing. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sandoval with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Drago looks winded! Drago trying to strike off his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sandoval stopping the sweep attempt from Drago. Sandoval lands a couple of digs. Sandoval throws a big elbow that misses. Sandoval lands a couple of digs. Sandoval decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Sandoval's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Sandoval duly obliges. Sandoval lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Drago is looking to clinch. Sandoval avoids the head kick by Drago.
Sandoval was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Drago throws a nice looking combination but Sandoval bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. It looked like Sandoval wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Sandoval circles away from the clinch attempt.
Drago fails with a takedown attempt. Sandoval looks to land a left hand but Drago moved out of range nicely. Sandoval drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Sandoval has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sandoval cracks Drago with a solid left hand. Sandoval with a flurry of punches that miss. Sandoval postures up and lands a big shot to Drago's brow. Sandoval in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nicholas Sandoval dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Drago stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Drago wants it to stay on the feet. Drago is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Drago fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Sandoval blocks a head kick by Drago.
Sandoval lands a front kick. Drago doesn't succeed with the takedown enabling Sandoval to counter with a crisp jab. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sandoval gets a clinch. Sandoval breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Drago takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Nicholas Sandoval is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Sandoval throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sandoval rushes Drago and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Drago has had enough of the clinch but Sandoval keeps him there for the moment. Sandoval fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Drago pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Drago bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Sandoval misses with the combination.

Sandoval tries to counter by clinching up but Drago breaks away and moves out of range. Sandoval tries a head kick but it misses.
Drago feints the counter takedown. Drago misses with a wild body shot. Sandoval throws a big counter combination but Drago scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Drago throws a head kick but Sandoval moves out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Drago tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sandoval paws at him with a jab and circles away. Sandoval circles away from the clinch attempt.
Drago darts in looking for a takedown but Sandoval gets double underhooks and turns Drago into the cage. Nicholas Sandoval has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Viktor Drago. Drago is breathing heavily. Drago tries to close the distance and clinch but Sandoval swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Sandoval misses with a series of wild punches.
Drago shoots in for a takedown but Sandoval shows good takedown defense. Drago shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sandoval but Sandoval pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Drago gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Drago gets tackled into the cage by Sandoval. Sandoval maintains the clinch. Drago drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Sandoval gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Drago wants to break the clinch but can't.
Sandoval breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Drago misses with a wild body shot. Sandoval misses with a straight left.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sandoval rushes Drago and presses him up against the cage. Drago fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Sandoval pushes a forearm under Drago's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Drago is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
