Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dirk Kutaz (ranked 955 p4p, 124 weight class) and Scar Ambe (ranked 1268 p4p, 160 weight class). Ambe has chosen Gunna - The World is Yours as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dirk Kutaz! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Scar Ambe! The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Santiago Holmes and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A cross from Kutaz lands. Kutaz throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ambe fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kutaz throwing a counter right hand but Ambe manages to avoid it. Scar Ambe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ambe misses with an uppercut. Kutaz saw that one coming. Ambe throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Kutaz was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Ambe's coach down at ELITE Island Gym - 19 Elite Coaches was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Ambe's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Ambe throws a nice looking combination but Kutaz bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. A quick step to the side and Kutaz tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. A swing and a miss from Ambe. Ambe defending well as Kutaz loads up on a big left hand. Kutaz uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ambe. Ambe gets in close and instigates a clinch. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Kutaz. Kutaz escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ambe throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kutaz's waist but Kutaz gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ambe off to one side. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ambe shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kutaz pinned against the cage. Kutaz gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Ambe fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kutaz, pushing him back against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. A head punch on the inside from Ambe fails to land. A nice left hand lands by Kutaz.

Dirk Kutaz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Scar Ambe. Kutaz lands a right hand that snaps the head of Ambe backwards. Kutaz swings wildly with an uppercut but Ambe uses good head movement to avoid it. Kutaz blocking some punches.

Ambe breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kutaz gets caught napping as Ambe dives in and scores a takedown. Kutaz manages to retain guard. Kutaz managing to control the position. Kutaz is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Ambe trying to control but Kutaz is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ambe working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Kutaz pulls Ambe in close to prevent any damage. Kutaz lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Kutaz looking to pass the guard. Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! Kutaz trying to move into half guard but instead Ambe has managed to sweep!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kutaz wants to sweep but no luck. Ambe postures up in Kutaz's guard and throws a big left but Kutaz blocks it. Ambe trying to control but Kutaz is working from the bottom. Kutaz has momentary wrist control but Ambe slips an elbow through the middle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ambe working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Kutaz keeping moving, preventing Ambe from controlling successfully. Ambe is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Ambe not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Kutaz avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Ambe throws a big right hand that misses. Kutaz preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Ambe trying to control the position from guard on top but Kutaz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kutaz is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Kutaz definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ambe accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Kutaz avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Kutaz knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ambe on the ground. Ambe trying to control but Kutaz is working from the bottom.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Ambe tries to clinch there but Kutaz circles away.
Ambe shoots in but Kutaz avoids the takedown attempt easily. Ambe misses with an uppercut
and Kutaz counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Scar Ambe has been cut. Ambe clinches up against the cage. Kutaz escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kutaz lands a jab to Ambe's midsection. A swing and a miss from Ambe. It looked like Kutaz was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Ambe. Ambe misses with a right hand and Kutaz counters with a left to the body. Ambe closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kutaz to the mat! Kutaz manages to get full guard. Ambe stopping the sweep attempt from Kutaz. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Dirk Kutaz will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Scar Ambe's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Good shot there by Kutaz. Kutaz avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Ambe slips under a jab. A little jabbing left from Ambe on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Dirk Kutaz is winning the standup battle so far. Kutaz avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kutaz punishes Ambe's body with a nice straight punch. Ambe shoots and misses and Kutaz counters with a straight right hand. Ambe throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ambe slips under a jab from Kutaz. Ambe misses with a straight left. Kutaz is looking to counter punch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ambe gets a clinch. Kutaz softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. A body shot lands from Kutaz.
Kutaz lands with a right to the head. This has been an exciting period of action! Kutaz misses with a body punch.
Ambe escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kutaz lands a really nice looking cross but Ambe seems unphased.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kutaz jabbing away but nothing is landing. Kutaz works the jab nicely. Kutaz lands a big right hand that sends Ambe crashing to the mat! Kutaz stays standing though and waves Ambe back to his feet!
Ambe is rocked! Kutaz is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Ambe can do to turn this around? Kutaz ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ambe moves away. Ambe is still on wobbly legs! Can Kutaz finish him? Kutaz throws a shot from downtown. Ambe moves away and avoids it. Ambe seems to have recovered his senses. Kutaz lands a lovely overhand right. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kutaz connects with a body shot that sends Ambe's belly button to the back. Kutaz lands a big right hand that sends Ambe crashing to the mat! Kutaz stays standing though and waves Ambe back to his feet! Kutaz throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ambe sees it coming and avoids it easily. Ambe closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Kutaz lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Ambe's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Ambe misses with a jab, cross combination.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Kutaz lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Kutaz misses the shot to the body. Kutaz ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ambe moves away. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Ambe! But no joy. Kutaz circles away from the clinch attempt.
A big right from Ambe misses. Ambe gets in close and instigates a clinch. Ambe throws a punch but it's blocked by Kutaz. Kutaz misses with a hook to the ribs.

Kutaz cracks Ambe with an open hand slap.
That has opened up Scar Ambe's cut even more. Ambe tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kutaz swats him away and circles back towards the center. Kutaz jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Ambe shoots in and drives through. Kutaz sprawls well. Ambe moves out of range of the strikes. Kutaz ducks under a wild hook from Ambe. Kutaz missing with a left hand there. Ambe was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kutaz connects with a right hand. Ambe shakes it off. Ambe instigates a clinch. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Kutaz. A right hook to the body lands for Kutaz.
Kutaz lands a hook to the side of the head. Ambe throws a head punch that misses. Kutaz lands a nice shot to the body. Ambe is breathing heavily. Ambe has Kutaz pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Ambe pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Kutaz tumbling to the mat - Ambe dives into Kutaz's guard. Kutaz is trying to control the position but Ambe postures up. Ambe in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ambe postures up.
Kutaz looking for a sweep. Not yet Kutaz, not yet. Ambe makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ambe postures up.
Kutaz is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Ambe throwing strikes but missing. Ambe in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Kutaz being controlled here, momentarily.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ambe shoots in looking for a takedown. Kutaz tries to sprawl out of it but Ambe keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kutaz manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Dirk Kutaz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Scar Ambe. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Ambe misses with a left hand and Kutaz counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Ambe takes one to the chin there. Kutaz slips under a jab from Ambe. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dirk Kutaz dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Scar Ambe's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Ambe rushes Kutaz and presses him up against the cage. Kutaz tries a body shot but Ambe blocks it.
Kutaz digs a right hand into Ambe's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Ambe's gas tank. Kutaz blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Ambe's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Ambe tries to move into range but Kutaz moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Kutaz staying out of range there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kutaz sends Ambe crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Kutaz is motioning to the referee to let Ambe up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet! Ambe might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kutaz swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kutaz throws an overhand right that lands on Ambe's shoulder, as Ambe tries to avoid the shot. Despite the aggression on Ambe's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kutaz, as that shot connected.
The cut above Scar Ambe's eye is starting to cause him problems now. A telegraphed right hand from Kutaz misses the target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kutaz looks to land a left hand but Ambe moved out of range nicely. Kutaz drops Ambe with a huge uppercut! Ambe drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Kutaz is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dirk Kutaz! Dirk Kutaz retains his lightweight title! Dirk Kutaz decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way. Scar Ambe spoke after the fight, saying 'Fuck all ya lll'.
