Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Killua Zoldyk (ranked 4332 p4p, 448 weight class) and Tom Harris (ranked 4153 p4p, 434 weight class). Killua Zoldyk has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Killua Zoldyk! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tom Harris! The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Peter Branson and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harris connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Killua Zoldyk has been cut. Harris wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Zoldyk misses with a straight right. Harris has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Zoldyk throws a lazy right hand but Harris sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Zoldyk scores with a takedown into Harris's guard. Zoldyk trying to control the position from guard on top but Harris is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Zoldyk trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Harris can do anything to dispel that myth. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Harris wants to get back to his feet but Zoldyk is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Zoldyk postures up and lands a big shot to Harris's brow. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zoldyk stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Harris swivels though and keeps the full guard. Harris tries to land a sweep but no joy. Zoldyk throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Harris works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Zoldyk is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Zoldyk missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Zoldyk is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Harris controlling the position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Harris sizes up Zoldyk with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Zoldyk looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Harris jabs at Zoldyk's body. Harris connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Harris clobbers Zoldyk with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Nice sprawl there from Harris as Zoldyk shoots in. Nice shot by Harris. Zoldyk takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Zoldyk looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Harris connects with a body shot that sends Zoldyk's belly button to the back. Harris works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Harris is looking to slow Zoldyk down with leg kicks. Harris lands with a good body shot. Zoldyk will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Zoldyk throws an overhand right that lands on Harris's shoulder, as Harris tries to avoid the shot. Harris thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Zoldyk if he has to take too many more of those.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harris lands with a cross. Harris works Zoldyk's body with a nice hook. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Zoldyk just misses with a punch to the body.
Harris scores with a nice body kick.
Harris connects with a body shot that sends Zoldyk's belly button to the back. Harris is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Zoldyk had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Harris moves into the clinch. Harris scores with a nice hook to the head. Harris lands with a right to the head. Harris lands on the inside with an uppercut. Harris lands with a left to the head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Zoldyk jumps guard but Harris stands there with Zoldyk around his waist. Zoldyk gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Harris works on Zoldyk's body with a couple of short punches. Harris works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Zoldyk is breathing heavily. Harris scores with a hook to the body. Harris gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Zoldyk.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Killua Zoldyk. That's going to take a lot out of him. Harris throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Zoldyks head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Harris lands a nice shot to the body. Harris is leaning against Zoldyk and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Harris lands with a right to the head. A left hand lands to the body for Harris.
Harris lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. A shot in the inside from Harris. Harris cracks Zoldyk with a nice body shot. Harris softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Harris makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Harris gets through Zoldyk's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. A left hand lands to the body for Harris.
A short uppercut from Harris. Harris lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Zoldyk or not. Zoldyk takes a shot to the head. Harris breaks from the clinch.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Harris slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Harris scores with a head kick.
Harris cracks Zoldyk with an open hand slap.
Zoldyk is rocked! Zoldyk looks up at the clock. Bad move! Harris lands a right hand from hell, dropping Zoldyk. Harris pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tom Harris! A very excited looking Tom Harris made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
