Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jason Johnson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ryu Lee! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee with a hook. Lee showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Johnson.

and Johnson counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Lee! Johnson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Lee is looking to escape. Johnson sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Lee wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Johnson.

That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Lee looks a forlorn figure.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson trying to control but Lee is having none of it. Johnson has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Lee's face.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson content just to control the position here. Johnson tries to control but Lee wriggling away. Johnson controlling the position easily from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Jason Johnson just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Johnson is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Lee tries to clinch but Johnson moves away and Johnson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Lee's guard. Johnson wants to control from the top but Lee keeps moving. Johnson's corner is telling him to maintain position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Lee wants to stand and escape but Johnson is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Johnson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lee is keeping the position for now. Johnson trying to control the position from guard on top but Lee is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Johnson is controlling him.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Lee tries to clinch but fails miserably and Johnson counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Johnson. A nice glancing elbow lands by Johnson. Lee throws a knee to the head but misses.

Lee pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Johnson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Johnson is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Lee is keeping busy. Lee escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Lee is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Johnson is controlling him. Jason Johnson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Johnson tries to free his leg and advance position but Lee is retaining full guard. Johnson controlling from the top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Johnson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Johnson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Ryu Lee has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Johnson throwing strikes from guard but Lee blocks nicely. Johnson trying to control the position from guard on top but Lee is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Johnson controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
And that's the end of the fight! Jason Johnson showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Johnson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
