Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ricky Jones!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Francis DeMontford and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gvozdev jabs at Jones's body.
Jones takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Gvozdev misses with a wild body shot.
Jones has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
A swing and a miss from Gvozdev.
Jones feints the counter takedown.
Jones closes this distance looking for a takedown but Gvozdev circles away.
Gvozdev throws out a loose jab but Jones uses good head movement to avoid it.
Jones changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gvozdev tries to avoid it but Jones manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gvozdev to the ground. Gvozdev escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gvozdev connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Oooooh!!! Gvozdev has knocked Jones down with a huge combo! Gvozdev steps away and waves a wobbly Jones back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Ricky Jones has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jones looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Gvozdev is fending him off so far but Jones persists. Nope, Gvozdev circles away and we're back to standing.
George Gvozdev has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ricky Jones.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jones is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Jones takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Gvozdev loads up on a big right hand but Jones slips the punch.
George Gvozdev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones with a lazy takedown attempt
and Gvozdev counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Gvozdev lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Jones falls backwards - clearly groggy! Gvozdev dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
