Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Fusi (ranked 2470 p4p, 287 weight class) and Buddy Lang (ranked 4336 p4p, 436 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, James Fusi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Buddy Lang!
The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Summer Carpenter and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lang tries to close the distance and clinch but Fusi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Fusi is looking for a counter combo.
Fusi scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Lang swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Lang gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Fusi gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Lang is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). James Fusi!
