Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jakub Balinski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sherlock Holmes!
The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Donatello Bradman and Ben Hemmingworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holmes fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Holmes misses with a wild combination.
Holmes throws a half hearted mid kick.
Holmes tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Balinski was well out of range. Poor timing from Holmes.
A clash of legs there as Balinski blocks the low kick.
Balinski feinted with a counter takedown.
Balinski has been working on his boxing with his coaches at 3Band MMA ($800/week) in the buildup to the fight.
Balinski throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Holmes was covering up waiting for the punch and Balinski finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Balinski postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looked like Balinski was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Holmes changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Balinski looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

We've been informed that Holmes has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Balinski explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Holmes closes the distance and clinches.
Holmes using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Balinski has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
