Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Olaf Sudgon (ranked 3718 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kent Mcallum (ranked 7882 p4p, 417 weight class). Olaf Sudgon has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Olaf Sudgon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Kent Mcallum!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Paul Tew and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sudgon fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Mcallum to the ground. Sudgon is now in Mcallum's guard.
Mcallum is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Sudgon postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Sudgon stands up over Mcallum, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Mcallum really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sudgon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Sudgon connects with a couple of short punches.
Sudgon wants to control from the top but Mcallum keeps moving.

Sudgon slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Sudgon working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Mcallum's head.
Mcallum wants to sweep here but Sudgon controlling him for the moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mcallum has his foot on Sudgon's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sudgon works his way back into a safe position though.
Sudgon postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Sudgon distracts Mcallum with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Sudgon arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Mcallum's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Olaf Sudgon!
