Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hellas Pankratios!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bob Snapp!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snapp misses with a wild combination.
Pankratios wants to clinch.
Snapp is looking for the big counter here.
Pankratios moves in looking to clinch but Snapp pushes him off.
Snapp scores with a jab to the head.
Snapp throws a hook to the side of Pankratios's head but Pankratios sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Pankratios has closed the distance and engaged Snapp in a clinch.
Snapp looking to stall.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A frustrated look appears on Snapp's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Pankratios tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Snapp just stands there and leans against the cage.

Pankratios manages to pull guard.

Pankratios looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Snapp trying to control the position from guard on top but Pankratios is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Pankratios is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Snapp content to stall in guard here.
Pankratios throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Pankratios is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Snapp slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Pankratios is looking for a triangle but Snapp pushes his legs off easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Snapp stopping the sweep attempt from Pankratios.

Pankratios has his feet on Snapp's thighs here. He's pushed Snapp off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Snapp screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Bob Snapp spoke after the fight, saying 'I will receive no damage to my body that will be long-lasting for a small, insignificant amount of cash. I'm getting paid well underneath what a professional boxer would. So in no means ever will I sustain long-lasting damage for a small paycheck. Never will that happen.'.
