St Stone tries to clinch up

so Machado counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
St Stone is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

St Stone really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Machado. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Machado sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed St Stone's guard.
St Stone should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
St Stone tries to get to full guard but Machado has control of the leg.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Machado is sneakily working for an arm triangle but St Stone sees it coming and defends easily.

Machado is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so St Stone is just riding it out for now. Machado eventually gives up the hold.
