Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between The Sigit (ranked 35 p4p, 8 weight class) and Ben Turner (ranked 214 p4p, 31 weight class). Sigit's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Gie. Ben Turner is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

26 - 16 - 1, fighting out of New York, Ben Turner!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Yves DeLean and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sigit dives in and grabs Turner's left leg, looking for a takedown. Turner pushes down on Sigit's head and hops out.
Turner leaves Sigit with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Turner with a hook.
Sigit listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
A telegraphed right hand from Turner misses the target.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Sigit.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for The Sigit. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sigit looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sigit takes one to the side of the head.
It looks like The Sigit has been cut.
Turner scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Sigit doesn't seem bothered though.
Sigit takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Turner tests Sigit's chin there with a solid looking shot.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Turner finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Sigit half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Ben Turner is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Turner ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Turner fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Sigit looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Turner uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Sigit has time to react.

and Turner counters with a nice body shot.
Sigit chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Turner can pounce on him.
Sigit gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Turner counters with a nice uppercut.
Turner lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Turner displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sigit.
Ben Turner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sigit shoots in for a takedown but Turner shows good takedown defense.
Turner lands the left hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A nice leg kick lands there from Turner.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Turner throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Turner scores with a nice strike.
Sigit looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Turner stuffs the takedown attempt from Sigit. Sigit gets slowly back to his feet.
Turner connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Sigit momentarily.
Turner lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Sigit is rocked!
Turner looks to throw the jab but Sigit is out of range.

Sigit takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Sigit seems to have got his legs back now.
Turner dances in with a quick combination. Sigit is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Turner snaps Sigit's head back. Sigit stumbles backwards against the cage. Turner steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Sigit's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Sigit just didn't come prepared.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Ben Turner!

After winning the bout, Ben Turner thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
