The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Habbawe closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Pekkarinen's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Habbawe is working Pekkarinen over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Pekkarinen had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Habbawe defends it easily. Pekkarinen has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Pekkarinen isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Habbawe closes the distance looking for a takedown. Pekkarinen stuffs it but Habbawe still has hold of him. Habbawe picks Pekkarinen up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Habbawe slams Pekkarinen to the floor and that's really hurt Pekkarinen - he doesn't know where he is! Habbawe throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!
