Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rudi Dassler (ranked 28 p4p, 4 weight class) and Iosue Nicu (ranked 124 p4p, 14 weight class). Nicu is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: It's Dark and Hell Is Hot. Rudi Dassler could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Iosue Nicu's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

30 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Iosue Nicu!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dassler looking to score a takedown here. Nicu is defending well but Dassler drives through and ends up in Nicu's guard.
Nicu is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Nicu keeping full guard, as Dassler tries to pass.
Nicu is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Nicu misses with the head strike.
Nicu is trying to break the clinch but Dassler is controlling him.
Nicu lands with a right to the head.
Nicu breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Nicu keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Dassler fails with a takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nicu darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Nicu lands a big head kick that sends Dassler tumbling to the mat! Nicu takes a step backwards and waves Dassler back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Dassler is rocked!
It looks like Rudi Dassler has been cut.
Dassler takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Nicu cracks Dassler on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Dassler falls backwards against the cage. Nicu follows up with more strikes that drop Dassler to his knees. Nicu keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Dassler! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Iosue Nicu!
Iosue Nicu is the new light heavyweight champion!
