Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Camatta (ranked 1223 p4p, 150 weight class) and Thor Odinson (ranked 1208 p4p, 146 weight class). Odinson is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: U Can't Touch This. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
31 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Antonio Camatta! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Thor Odinson! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Camatta uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Odinson. Camatta feinted with a counter takedown. Odinson looks to land a right hand but Camatta moved out of range. Camatta drops down looking for a counter takedown but Odinson sprawls and moves away. Odinson lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Camatta defending well as Odinson loads up on a big left hand. Odinson throws a good cross that connects.

Camatta shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Camatta content to control rather than advance. Odinson looks like he's trying to stand up.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Camatta is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! Camatta's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Odinson wants to get back to his feet. Camatta looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That was a close round but I would say that Antonio Camatta will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Camatta tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Camatta has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Odinson wants to get back to his feet but Camatta drags him back down.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Camatta tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Camatta wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Odinson, who protects the arm well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Odinson pushes Camatta away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Camatta gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Camatta goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Odinson rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Camatta's guard! Nice work there by Odinson! Antonio Camatta overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Camatta looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Odinson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Odinson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Camatta is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

He's persisting with it as Odinson sprawls well. Odinson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Camatta gets slowly back to his feet. Camatta darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Camatta wants to work for an arm triangle but Odinson is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Camatta keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Camatta is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Odinson is just riding it out for now. Camatta eventually gives up the hold.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Camatta here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

A head kick misses from Odinson. Camatta blocks a leg kick. Odinson looks to score with a jab to the body but Camatta is just out of range. Camatta tries to counter with a takedown but Odinson is quick to defend against it. Odinson looks to throw the jab but Camatta is out of range. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Odinson just misses with a punch to the body.

It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Odinson wants it to stay on the feet. Odinson lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Odinson loads up on a big right hand but Camatta slips the punch. Camatta tries to counter with a takedown but Odinson is quick to defend against it. Camatta is trying hard to land a takedown here. Odinson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Horrible takedown attempt by Camatta or perhaps it was just good defense by Odinson, which made it look bad. Odinson cracks Camatta with an open hand slap. Thor Odinson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Camatta misses with a takedown attempt - Odinson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Camatta checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Camatta looking to score a takedown here. Odinson is defending well but Camatta drives through and ends up in Odinson's guard. Odinson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Camatta is controlling him. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Odinson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Camatta controls the pace.
And that's the end of the fight! Thor Odinson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Camatta has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
