Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vito Scaletta (ranked 983 p4p, 122 weight class) and Jonthan Henry (ranked 1972 p4p, 244 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Scaletta might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to i kill cause im hungry. Henry is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: hit em up . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Bruno Lombardi and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scaletta goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Scaletta cracks Henry with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Scaletta connects with a body shot that sends Henry 's belly button to the back.
Scaletta lands a right hook to the body.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Henry is defended easily by Scaletta.
An inside leg kick lands from Scaletta.
Henry shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Henry was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Scaletta tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Henry wants to control but Scaletta is keeping him busy.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Henry throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Scaletta clobbers Henry with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Henry takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Scaletta tests Henry 's chin there with a solid looking shot.

and Scaletta counters with a body kick.
Henry misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Vito Scaletta has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jonthan Henry .

Henry tries to move into range but Scaletta moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Henry takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Henry sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Henry chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Scaletta can pounce on him.

Scaletta lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Henry takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Henry shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Scaletta but Scaletta pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Henry is aggressively charging in as Scaletta backs up avoiding any damage. Scaletta tosses out a jab and Henry runs right into it face first! Henry is out cold! Scaletta dropped down on all fours and is barking in Henry 's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
