Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Max Roberts (ranked 3259 p4p, 372 weight class) and Yordan Andonov (ranked 3183 p4p, 365 weight class). Roberts comes into the arena with Break Stuff blaring out of the sound system. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberts connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Andonov.
Roberts seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Roberts shoots in looking for a takedown but Andonov manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Roberts's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Max Roberts. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Roberts makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
