Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jake Plunkett!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knight throws out a leg kick but Plunkett moves out of range and Knight only half commits.
Plunkett ducks under a wild hook from Knight.
Plunkett gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Knight counters with a stiff right hand.
Plunkett throws a leg kick that is checked
and Knight cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Knight avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Plunkett tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Plunkett looks to clinch
and Knight counters with a stiff right hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Plunkett is looking to clinch but Knight is avoiding it.
Plunkett clinches up with Knight and pushes him back against the cage.
Knight breaks from the clinch.
Knight leaves Plunkett with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Knight avoids the head kick by Plunkett.
Knight lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Plunkett at a distance.
Plunkett throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Knight.

and Knight counters with a nice uppercut.
Plunkett is rocked!
Knight ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Plunkett's jaw. Plunkett's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Knight does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jason Knight!
