The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Alyssa Summers and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goldberg ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Petrovs moves away.
Petrovs fails in his attempt to clinch.
Goldberg was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Goldberg misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Goldberg throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Petrovs.

My spies in JAG Battle Gym inform me that Petrovs has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Petrovs stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Goldberg swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Petrovs drops back, looking for a kneebar! Goldberg looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Goldberg looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Goldberg!

We've been hearing that Goldberg has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Goldberg looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Petrovs can't hide his disappointment, as Goldberg celebrates the victory.
