Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Inmate Seven Nine Zero Four Two (ranked 4607 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Urai (ranked 12328 p4p, 0 weight class). Urai comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Sever the Wicked kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Sam Urai told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Inmate Seven Nine Zero Four Two! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
27 - 17 - 3, fighting out of London, Sam Urai! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, William Gold and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Urai will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Urai fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Seven Nine Zero Four Two attempts a counter takedown but Urai avoids it well and moves away. Seven Nine Zero Four Two keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Seven Nine Zero Four Two blocks a jab. Seven Nine Zero Four Two changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Urai lands a jab to the head.
It looks like Inmate Seven Nine Zero Four Two has been cut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Urai throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Seven Nine Zero Four Two stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. No joy there for Urai, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Seven Nine Zero Four Two goes for a double leg but Urai avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Urai continues to drive forward.
That's one minute gone in the round. Urai lands with a hook. Seven Nine Zero Four Two tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. A head kick misses from Urai. Seven Nine Zero Four Two slips under a jab. A good leg kick by Urai. Urai's corner calls for a 1-2. Urai obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. A big left from Urai misses. Seven Nine Zero Four Two throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Urai throws out a counter right but Seven Nine Zero Four Two avoids it with no problem. Urai misses with a body kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Seven Nine Zero Four Two shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Urai as he jumps to the side. Seven Nine Zero Four Two takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Seven Nine Zero Four Two is rocked! Urai and Seven Nine Zero Four Two are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Urai throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Seven Nine Zero Four Two into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Urai knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Sam Urai! Sam Urai seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
