Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Emilie Lamont (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mini Me (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Emilie Lamont has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Emilie Lamont! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mini Me! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Me gets caught flat footed, as Lamont shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Me is wriggling around but Lamont manages to pass to half guard.
Me is trying to stand.
Lamont sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Me defending well though. Lamont trying to mount his opponent but Me defends it. Lamont passes the guard and advances to mount! Lamont lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Me hang on? Lamont will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Me is trying to stand up. Lamont thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Lamont trying to control but Me is having none of it. Me is bucking up trying to escape but Lamont cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Lamont thowing shots but they're missing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Me is squirming around, avoiding Lamont's attempts to control the action. BOOM! Lamont connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Me squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Lamont wants to control the pace but Me is squirming around nicely. Lamont with a couple of short strikes. Lamont won't let Me get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Lamont is landing with some decent strikes but Me is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Me is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lamont landing strikes, looking to finish! Me really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lamont. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Lamont is in the full mount, landing strikes. Lamont looking to control but Me is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Lamont has hold of Me's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Me manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Lamont is breathing heavily. Me is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Lamont lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Me hang on? You get the feeling that Me really doesn't like being in this position too much.
That's four minutes gone in the round. BOOM! Lamont connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Lamont throws some wild stikes that Me manages to avoid easily.
Me really wants to buck Lamont off and get back to his feet. Me wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Lamont.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lamont throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Lamont looking to ground and pound but Me is blocking nicely. Lamont scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Me?
Me is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Me wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Lamont misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Emilie Lamont dominated that round. That's time! Lamont's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Me circles away from the clinch attempt.
Emilie Lamont seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lamont tries to clinch up but Me circles away and keeps his distance. A telegraphed right hand from Me misses the target. Lamont takes the fight into the clinch. Lamont tries to throw a body punch but Me avoids it by throwing Lamont back against the cage. Lamont jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Me walks away with a smile on his face. Lamont gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Me misses the shot to the body. Me displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. A combination from Me does no damage. Lamont slips a jab and a cross from Me.
Me gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Lamont throws a big right hand that misses. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lamont trying to control but Me is working from the bottom. Lamont stands and throws Me's legs to the side, diving into side control. Me takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Lamont wants to lay and pray for a moment but Me keeps working. Me wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Lamont landing strikes. Lamont wants to control but Me is keeping him busy. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Me can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Me is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Emilie Lamont overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Me fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lamont, pushing him back against the cage. Me has had enough of the clinch but Lamont keeps him there for the moment. Me prevents the takedown attempt.
Lamont tries for a takedown. No joy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Emilie Lamont. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lamont trying to stall but Me improves his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lamont misses with a short punch on the inside. Lamont drops down looking for an ankle pick but Me pulls his leg out and moves away.
Lamont tries for a takedown but Me sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Me lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Me drops Lamont with a nice combination! Me dives into Lamont's guard, looking to finish!
Lamont is rocked! Lamont is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Oh Lamont is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Me wanted to stand there but Lamont had control of the position. Lamont seems to have got his legs back now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Me won't allow Lamont to sweep him here. Me would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Lamont looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Lamont has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Me can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Me forces Lamont back against the cage and clinches. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mini Me showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Lamont takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Horrible takedown by Lamont or perhaps it was just good defense by Me which made him look bad. Me throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Me fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lamont, pushing him back against the cage. Me manages to break the clinch.
Lamont stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Lamont tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Me swivels and escapes. Me gets caught flat footed, as Lamont shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Lamont prevents Me from getting back to his feet. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Lamont trying to control the position from guard on top but Me is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Me is looking to stand up but Lamont isn't so interested in that idea. Lamont pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Me is keeping the position for now. Me wants to stand and escape but Lamont is having none of it. Me wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Lamont manages to pass to side control. Me is trying to stand back up but Lamont is controlling him
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Me lands a lovely overhand right. Lamont shoots for a double leg takedown but Me sprawls well. He's pushed Lamont's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Emilie Lamont. That's going to take a lot out of him. Me throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Lamont shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Me as he jumps to the side. Me keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Lamont. Me scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Me lands with an uppercut that bounces Lamont off the cage and back into rage. Lamont looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Me pushes Lamont up against the cage in a clinch. Me pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Me bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Lamont's head. Me closes the distance and clinches. Me's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Me throws a series of punches but Lamont moves out of range. Me lands a with a good body shot. Me paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Lamont avoids a punch combination nicely.
Me gets a clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Me lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Lamont is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Me pulls him back up using the underhooks. Lamont misses with a punch to the body.
Lamont is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Me gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Me breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Me stuffs the takedown attempt from Lamont. Lamont gets slowly back to his feet. Me keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Lamont avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Me moves into the clinch successfully.
Me lands on the inside with an uppercut. Me breaks from the clinch.
Me has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Me wants to clinch up but Lamont keeps it at a distance. Me rushes Lamont and presses him up against the cage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Me scores with a shoulder strike.
And that's the end of the fight! Mini Me comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Me has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
