Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jason Manson!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Bruno Lombardi and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mccall fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Manson darts in looking for a takedown but Mccall gets double underhooks and turns Manson into the cage.

Manson has Mccall up against the cage in a clinch.
Mccall wants to stall.
Mccall tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Manson avoids it.

Manson manages to pull guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mccall throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Mccall throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Manson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mccall. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Manson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mccall's guard.

Mccall uses the cage to get back to his feet.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Mccall manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Manson manages to get himself to full guard.

Mccall postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Manson wants to stand and escape but Mccall is having none of it.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mccall accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Manson has momentary wrist control but Mccall slips an elbow through the middle.
