Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Small Show (ranked 1862 p4p, 186 weight class) and Samart Payakaroon (ranked 2852 p4p, 256 weight class). Show comes into the arena with My Time Is Now blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Show tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Payakaroon was well out of range. Poor timing from Show.
A slow jab from Payakaroon misses its intended target.
Payakaroon misses with a looping right.

Show shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Payakaroon makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Payakaroon.
Payakaroon looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've been hearing good reports from Show's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Show arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Payakaroon's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
