Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Vash Stampede (ranked 2400 p4p, 107 weight class) and Alvar Rautio (ranked 3565 p4p, 145 weight class). Stampede comes to the cage accompanied by Remember The Name. The key to victory for Vash Stampede has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Vash Stampede!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Alvar Rautio!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Santiago Holmes and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stampede dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Stampede scores with a body shot.
Stampede throws a combination. Rautio tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Rautio closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Stampede quickly recovers to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stampede is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Rautio has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Temp Spar Gym. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Rautio is taking a breather. Stampede says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stampede desperately trying to maintain half guard.
Stampede trying to hold on to Rautio's head to control him but Rautio postures up.
Rautio looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Stampede knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rautio on the ground.
Rautio is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Stampede has managed to free his arm - good work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rautio is keen to just control but Stampede is a slippery customer.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rautio is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Stampede is just riding it out for now. Rautio eventually gives up the hold.
Rautio is looking to advance position but Stampede won't allow it.

Rautio wants to pass to mount but Stampede is defending the position.
Stampede is positioning himself well to prevent Rautio advancing to mount.
Rautio is taking a breather. Stampede says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Rautio seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Stampede does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Rautio in particular looking to stall.
Stampede won't allow Rautio to pass to mount.
Stampede looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Stampede on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Stampede tries to get out of the position.
Rautio works his way into full mount!
Stampede defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Rautio.
Rautio jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Stampede manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Rautio is trying to get an arm triangle but Stampede is defending well.
Rautio looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Stampede is looking for a sweep.

Rautio is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Stampede's shoulder. That is not cool.
Stampede can't do much from the bottom here.
Rautio has hold of Stampede's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Stampede seems comfortable defending it but Rautio has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Stampede is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Stampede is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Rautio couldn't care less - he's delighted!
