The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Li is defended easily by Johnson.

Johnson shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Johnson is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Li is defending against the submission attempts here by Johnson.
Johnson scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Li is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Johnson pulls his head out easily.

Johnson winds up and cracks Li with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Johnson scores with a big shot! Li's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Li! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
