The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from OCallaghan.
Parker throws a big counter combination but OCallaghan scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

OCallaghan gets a clinch.

OCallaghan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Parker pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Micky OCallaghan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
OCallaghan tries to clinch up but Parker circles away and keeps his distance.
Parker changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
OCallaghan throws a body kick that misses.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from OCallaghan, right into the meat.
OCallaghan tries to clinch up but Parker circles away and keeps his distance.

OCallaghan closes the distance and clinches.
OCallaghan just leaning against Parker, taking a breather.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Parker manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Parker on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

OCallaghan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from OCallaghan.

OCallaghan thumps Parker with a low kick.
OCallaghan is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Parker circles away from the clinch attempt.
Parker on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
OCallaghan blocks a head kick by Parker.

Parker misses with a head kick.

OCallaghan closes the distance and clinches.
OCallaghan lands a nice elbow.


It looks like Eric Parker has been cut.
Parker really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
OCallaghan lands an elbow just above Parker 's eye.
Oh Parker is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

OCallaghan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Parker gets hit by the mother of all head kicks and drops to the canvas in a crumpled heap! Woooow, the Internet is going to be talking about this one for weeks!
