Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dixon Camara (ranked 784 p4p, 97 weight class) and Mario Benedetti (ranked 1057 p4p, 125 weight class). Benedetti has chosen Bajafondo as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!Mario Benedetti has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Dixon Camara's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dixon Camara!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mario Benedetti!
The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Francis DeMontford and Ben Hemmingworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Camara goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Benedetti misses with a looping right.
Camara thumps Benedetti with a low kick.
Camara throws a right and a left that both miss.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Benedetti! But no joy.
Camara lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Camara tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Benedetti manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Camara throws a leg kick which misses Benedetti's front leg but catches the back leg as Benedetti tries to avoid it.
Benedetti looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Benedetti lands with a good body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Camara punishes Benedetti's body with a nice straight punch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Camara. Benedetti does a little dance to reset his feet.
Benedetti looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Camara pushes Benedetti away with a front kick.
Camara pulls out of a head kick attempt.

and Benedetti counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Camara gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
A frustrated look appears on Benedetti's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Benedetti is looking to break free of the clinch but Camara has double underhooks.
Camara tries to work over Benedetti's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Benedetti got a little sloppy there for a moment and Camara has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Benedetti has managed to get both his arms back between Camara's legs - danger averted.

Camara is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Camara had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Benedetti defends it easily.
Camara looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Benedetti trying to control but Camara is working from the bottom.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Camara swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Benedetti takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

Camara closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Camara misses with a jab to the body
and Benedetti counters with a straight right hand.
Camara throws a leg kick but Benedetti sees it coming and moves out of range.
A combination from Benedetti does no damage.
Camara fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Benedetti manages to avoid it.
Benedetti swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Benedetti stuns Camara with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Camara lands a lovely overhand right.
Nice body kick there by Camara.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Camara digs a good hook to Benedetti's body.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Camara, as that shot connected.
Benedetti uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Camara.
Camara is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Benedetti can do to turn this around?

Camara throws a body shot but no joy.
It seemed like Benedetti was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
The fighters circle momentarily. Benedetti darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Camara walks into a left hand.

and Benedetti counters with a crisp right that sends Camara to the canvas! Benedetti follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!

Mario Benedetti really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Zenith Nutrition (160q/$200) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
